Education means a brighter future for our children in Bududa, Uganda. Education is the foundation for making a change.
We are currently sending the children to a local community school. However, it is a future goal of ours to build our classrooms on-site to go to school in a more convenient location.
It cost 325,000 UGX per child to attend school currently. Included in that amount are school supplies and a meal. Children must have test booklets, pencils, pens, plates, and more before starting school. We could save that money if we had a nursery and primary school on our own.
To make a difference in the children’s lives, we also have to educate the surrounding community. In Africa, it is believed that it takes a village to raise a child, so it is imperative to educate the community. Mainly because they will play an integral part in educating the youth in the community, as we develop, we would like to start a Community development center to help the surrounding community by teaching different crafts.
We currently work with women in the community that create crafts that we sell. This opportunity helps to provide jobs for women in the community.
We have a lot of goals and vision for the education of our youth. We need your help in working towards achieving our goals.
Moses Musaba is a Ugandan National and a Resident. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Social Work and Community Development from Kyambogo University. He worked as a Social Worker with Tororo General Hospital and later as a Volunteer Community Development Officer Bushiyi Sub County Lower Local Government and Bududa District Local Government for five (5) years. He is currently working as a Social Worker with WATCHDRM in Bududa District.
My name is Lynda Joyce Redix. I am the fourth child born to Earl Redix & Dorothy (Sheffield) Redix, a Seguin native, and proud mother of four wonderful adult children; Destiny, Lori, Philip, & Tim, and four amazing grandchildren; Jesse Ruth, Brock, Paxton, & Beckham.
I have worked as an LVN for 35 plus years in the medical field consisting of medical, surgical, ER, psychiatric, geriatric, school nurse, and continue to work part-time with the Alzheimer’s population.
I am daily motivated by doing small acts of kindness, to relieve others from basic suffering and difficult times we all endure.
Clarissa Ndagire is the Treasurer of WATCCH. She is originally born in a Uganda. However currently resides in the United States. She has a Bachelors in Economics. She used to be the Treasurer at ABC Capital Bank of Uganda. She also served as a Money Market and foreign exchange dealer with Global Trust Bank of Uganda.
Joseph Ronald OPIO is a WATCCH Ugandan country Executive Director. He’s is Ugandan born and raised. He has a Bachelors in Information Technology and currently pursuing Masters in the same professional field.
He worked with Musana Community Development Center as a Volunteer Coordinator.
Then, worked in the High Court of Uganda as Assistant IT/Court Proceeding Recorder, currently with Ministry of Lands and Urban Development as ICT Officer/Head of Quality Assurance and Testing Team.
He rides Motorcross dirt bikes as a hobby.
BA from SWTSC (formerly SWTSU, currently TXSU), Speech Communication Major, SocialWork/Sociology Minor, OCS(Officer Candidate School), Retired USPS(United States Postal Service ), and Retired TXANG((Texas Army National Guard), and 7 yrs. Substitute Teacher w/SISD, active in Church Ministries, as well as Community Civic and Social Organizations. Last, but hardly least, a grateful and humbled mother, grandmother, AND great grandmother , “To God Be The Glory”.
Bonny Nangoli is a Ugandan residing in Kampala, he has worked as a Data Collector in the Ministry of Health , and worked as a Regional Leader for 2 years in Watoto Church, and also worked as a Research Assistant for Okurut and Company Advocates, he is a born again Christian and an Assistant Pastor in Prayer Altar Ministries.
He is also Uganda’s Gospel artist and song writer doing music in the local language,
Bonny is a Lawyer by profession after attaining a Bachelors degree in Law.

Pamela Nakagolo is a Ugandan National and Resident She has a Bachelors Degree in Law and has 6 years experience in Legal and General Office Administration, Customer Service Administration and Management. She worked for MTN Uganda as a Buffer Department Administrator and a Sales Administrator and also later worked in 3D Tracking as a Customer Service Manager.
